All of this has probably cost you some money. After all, the legal work, computer hardware, software, and the web site all cost money. Even if you saved a bit by making the web site yourself, you still must have spent quite a bit of money and quite a lot of your own time. Be prepared to spend just as much more time on marketing your business.

All of this will raise your siteís rank in the search results. Also, start a blog where you write about your area of expertise and about what made you want to start your retail business.

All marketing costs money. Be prepared to spend some on:

  • Pay Per Click advertising
  • Printing the name of your company and of the website address on all kinds of products that might catch the customerís eye. They might see it and want to check it out online.
  • Social Media
